the pumpkin patch 2016

Once again, we made our annual trip to the pumpkin patch! This year's visit was extra special since it was Ashlynn's first time to go. The big kids were very excited to show her around. Caleb kept commenting on how small some of the things were. We had to keep explaining to him that everything was the same as last year - it was him that was so much bigger!

It was a warmer fall day and we had so much fun, as always!  Another pumpkin patch visit is in the books!

the great pumpkin patch visit of 2015

Another fall season.....another trip to the pumpkin patch.  It's one of my favorite days of the year, and I love that it has become one for the kiddos as well.  They'd been asking and asking when we were going to go, and the day did not disappoint!

#tbt stories - it's fall, y'all

It's fall, y'all!  This is my favorite season, by far!

One of my favorite things that we do every year is to visit the pumpkin patch.  They always have an old truck set up for picture-taking, and this was the first year that we tried to get the kids to sit together on it.  It was so difficult to get them both to look at the camera at the same time, and this is the best we got!

Hey - no one is crying or has their finger in their nose, so I'll take it!

it's the great pumpkin patch visit

As soon as fall came around this year, Caleb started asking when we would be going to the pumpkin patch.  I love that he was looking forward to it, and that he knows that this is one of our family traditions.  It's always been one of our favorite things to do as a family, and this year was no exception.  It was a pretty warm day, so we packed a picnic lunch and ate right next to the pond.  The kids kept saying it was the best day ever, which is always nice to hear!

Also, I just looked back at last year's post and realized how much they've grown since then.  Those growth chart pictures just put it all into perspective!

Slow down, time!
